In another inquiry initiated against him by the NABKARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) granted on Friday protective bail to former federal minister and former PPP MNA, Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani, till April 5 in another inquiry initiated against him by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). A divisional bench comprising Chief Justice Ahmed Ali Sheikh and Justice Omar Sial heard the pre-arrest bail in which the court granted the protective bail against a surety of Rs500,000. The same bench issued notices to NAB director-general (DG) while granting protective bail to Agha Maseehuddin, brother of Sindh Assembly Speaker, for four weeks in a NAB inquiry related to the illegal allotment of land. The plea mentioned that NAB had summoned Maseehuddin on March 5 for interrogation in the inquiry against Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani. It will negatively affect the case if the bails are granted to the accused, said the prosecutor.
