SHC disgruntled over slow progress of missing children case


KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) expressed its dissatisfaction on police’s inefficiency on Thursday when they were notified that of total of over 20 missing children, the police have been able to recover only four so far. SSP Haider, while assuring the court that adequate measures will be taken, also informed that the cases for the recovery of another seven missing children have been registered by the police. The additional advocate general, however, owed the slow progress to IGP’s failure to appoint a high-level official to cater the cases. “Children are missing from Sindh, and the IGP is not concerned,” the court observed. “The children should be recovered.
