A two-member bench of the SHC adjourned the hearing until April 22 due to the absence of the petitioner’s lawyer. In the previous hearing, the SHC had ruled that it will make public the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) reports public after carefully reviewing them. The sealed JIT reports have already been submitted to the bench in pursuance of its orders. Federal Minister Ali Zaidi had filed a petition in SHC requesting orders to the law enforcement agencies to make public JIT reports of Uzair Baloch, Morai and the Baldia blaze case. The JIT reports of Uzair Baloch and Morai have also not been made publicly available.
