SH3A reopens after truck and trailer crash


A large truck rolled about three kilometres north of Inglewood blocking the entire state highway for four hours. A Taranaki state highway has reopened hours after a truck and trailer rolled, completely blocking it. Police were notified of the crash on State Highway 3A, between Davis and Hursthouse Rds, Inglewood, at 11.51am on Friday. The truck lay on its left-hand side on the southern side of a corner, which had a recommended speed of 85 and 'slippery when wet' signs. St John Ambulance and Fire and Emergency New Zealand also attended the crash.
