The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Barr Boss Mustapha Gida has empowered about ten thousand women and youths of Adamawa State in collaboration with National Directorate of Employment (NDE). The empowerment which includes, cosmetology kits, hairdressing equipment, welding and metal fabrication, as well as GSM repairs equipment and some cash donation. The SGF, challenged the beneficiaries to use the equipment for the purpose intended. Boss revealed that NDE partnering with him to bring succour to the people of Adamawa state is because of his closeness to his them as grassroots politicians who is so dear to them. One of the beneficiaries, Abubakar Hosere, who is the state chairman of the physically challenged persons, appreciated the SGF, for his social intervention in alleviating their plight.
