SFA considering Hampden Park and Murrayfield options

The Scottish Football Association (SFA) are looking into the possibility of buying Hampden Park in an attempt to secure the ground's future. Hampden Park is currently owned by League One Queen's Park and the SFA has a lease - which will expire in 2020. Hampden Park is 115 years old and currently hosts Scotland games, cup finals and other high-profile fixtures. A Scottish FA spokesman said: "The Scottish FA Board met last month to review the opportunities available beyond the term of the existing lease for the use of Hampden Park, which expires in 2020. "It was decided to progress two options: remaining at Hampden Park and moving to Murrayfield.
