The Stock Exchange of Thailand's main index opened at 1,494.51 points, up 5.82 points from Thursday's close. The MAI index opened up 3.23 points or 0.59% to stand at 547.12 points with total transaction value of 173 million baht. The SET50 index opened at 945.49 points, up 2.74 points or 0.29%, with a total trade value of 1.54 billion baht. The trade value was 2.35 billion baht with 536 million shares traded. Thai stocks opened up 0.39% at the start of trade this morning.
