Bedi, who stated in the new role on 1 November, joined SEACOM from CloudSmiths East Africa, where he has been MD since 2015. Welcoming Bedi, chief sales and marketing officer at SEACOM Group, Steve Briggs, said: “We are delighted to welcome Tejpal Bedi on board. He joins SEACOM as the firm pivots from dedicated wholesale provider to a challenger enterprise player, serving high-profile brands in the banking and manufacturing sectors, amongst others. Boosting its enterprise expansion, SEACOM last month closed its acquisition of Kenya's Hirani Telecommunications Metro Fibre Network.
