THE Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday ordered Solicitor General Jose Calida to comment on the motion for reconsideration filed by ousted Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Aranal-Sereno. At the resumption of the SC en banc on Tuesday from its month long recess, the high court discussed Sereno’s motion for reconsideration to Calida’s quo warranto petition that it granted. According to unimpeachable sources of the Manila Times in the high court, Tijam has circulated his Draft Resolution on Sereno’s motion. Tijam was also the ponente of the quo warranto petition, which the Supreme Court upheld with a vote of 8-6. Court sources said that 20-page draft was circulated to the 13 other justices of the high court last Friday.
