The Supreme Court has stayed the trial proceeding of the Niko corruption case against former BNP law minister barrister Moudud Ahmed for one more week on Sunday, reports BSS. A four-member appellate division bench headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order after holding a hearing on the petition. Barrister Moudud moved his case before the court by himself while advocate Khurshid Alam Khan was present for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). “The matter will come up again on the apex court cause list for a hearing on next Sunday,” Khan told the newsmen. Earlier on April 13, the Chamber Judge court of the Appellate Division had stayed the proceedings in the case against Moudud till Sunday.
