THE Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday condemned the ruthless killing of retired Court of Appeals (CA) justice Normandie Pizarro. Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta called on law enforcement authorities to leave no stone unturned in their investigation so that those behind the crime would be punished. “The killing and murder of any person is never tolerated by our laws. I ask our law enforcement agencies to press on with their investigation so that the perpetrators of this barbaric act can be caught and brought to justice,” he said. Peralta and Pizarro were colleagues at the Quezon City Regional Trial Court.
