SC agrees to hear PIL challenging govt cash for Kashmir separatists

New Delhi, Sep 8 (PTI): The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition that wants it to declare as “illegal and unconstitutional” the alleged release of money from the Consolidated Fund of India to separatists based in Jammu & Kashmir. ”List the petition for hearing on September 14,” a bench of Justices A.R. Dave and L. Nageswara Rao said. Sharma, who has filed the public interest litigation in his personal capacity, mentioned it in the court. The petition says the Central Bureau of Investigation should look into the alleged disbursement of funds to separatists.
