Over the past few days, scenes like this one — and worse — have been repeated up and down the country. All of them shocking, all deeply distasteful, all liable to make one question the very nature — and sanity — of the human race. The irony is that this is a generation that never tires of telling everyone how seriously they take their social responsibility, how much social justice ‘like, really really matters’ to them.
