Share:The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister(SAPM) of Pakistan, on Sunday, visited the Shalimar Gardens Lahore. During the visit, Director General Archaeology Ilyas Gill and other officers received the Special Assistant. SAPM Jamshed Iqbal Cheema visited the photographic gallery at the Moorcroft pavilion which was inaugurated in March. The Special Assistant appreciated the Directorate of Archaeology for preserving the Shalimar Gardens in its original condition and photograph collection at the Moorcroft Pavilion. While talking on the occasion, the SAPM said, “Nations protect their historical sites so that future generations can know about their ancestors.”
