The parent company of S&T Bank announced on Thursday that it has been named to the Best-In-State Banks list by Forbes for 2023. Officials with S&T said in a news release that they were presented with the award by Forbes and Statista, Inc., following the results of an independent survey. Approximately 26,000 consumers were asked to rate banks at which they have, or previously have had, a checking or savings account. Additionally, they rated banks in six different subdimensions: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice. S&T Chief Executive Officer Chris McComish said the award “endorses both our efforts and our customers’ response on our journey to achieve our purpose.” He also emphasized building customer relationships through their People-Forward Banking purpose.
