The passenger was horrified to discover that he had landed in Bari on the Italian mainland, instead of his intended destination of Cagliari, Sardinia. He added that he had no more money to get to Sardinia which was located hundreds of kilometres away. “I have to meet a friend who is sick in Cagliari. I have no money left.”Vito Scotella, who recorded the incident, said: "The flight to Cagliari was late so the two boardings were really close to each other. I work at the airport and the complete incompetence of the staff connected to Ryanair is unheard of."
