Ryan Moran’s status as coach of the UMBC men’s lacrosse team is in limbo. “We have received the appeal decision and are reviewing it,” Tucker said Thursday afternoon. “We have no further comment at this time.”The appeal decision was made by an arbitrator from JAMS Mediation, which has offices in 22 states and Washington, D.C. “The language of the final order from the February 11, 2026 hearing and [Wednesday’s] appeal decision was unambiguous and clear. Despite the assertions of both parties, no personnel decision about Coach Moran has been made.”Jackson, Moran’s lawyer, declined to address the accuser’s attorneys’ stance.
