Tanzania and Uganda lawyers are currently allowed to practice law in Kenya in accordance to provisions of sections 12 and 13 of the Advocates Act. The changes will further clarify eligibility and minimum requirements for non-Kenyans who are already admitted to practice law in the EAC or the Commonwealth and beyond before seeking admission to practice law in Kenya.
