President William Ruto is expected to travel to the Union of Comoros and the Republic of Congo on Wednesday evening. A statement released by the State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said the Head of State will visit the countries for three days. He will first visit the Union of Comoros to attend the 48th anniversary of the country's Independence Day on Thursday. "This visit aims to significantly strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries," Mohamed said. On Friday, Ruto will commence the two-day State visit to Congo, where he will hold bilateral talks with President Dennis Sassou Nguesso.
