President William Ruto arrives in Embu for installation ceremony of Peter Kimani as the Catholic Bishop of Embu Diocese. President William Ruto has assured Catholic bishops that he will address the concerns they raised concerning the new Social Health Insurance Fund. Ruto acknowledged that the clerics expressed concerns about the new health insurance but assured that he will have the concrns addressed. The President said the Social Health Insurance Fund is aimed at ensuring universal health coverage is attained for the good of all Kenyans and a few hiccups won't stall the progress. Bishop Peter Kimani's installation as the head of the Diocese of Embu marked a new chapter for the Catholic Church in the region.
