Ruto pledges cabinet slots, 40,000 jobs to Nakuru residents

Deputy President William Ruto on Thursday pitched a tent in Nakuru county during which he promised a bag of goodies to area residents if elected president in the August polls. The Kenya Kwanza Alliance had staged a county economic forum in Nakuru where he and his counterparts listened to the grievances of area residents. Responding to his running mate Rigathi Gachagua who had noted that Nakuru has always been forgotten, Ruto said Nakuru will get cabinet slots in his government. Ruto said members of the Kenya Kwanza Economic team would collect their ideas, suggestions and memorandums to make a charter to be signed between Nakuru Leaders and the coalition. Others present were Amani National Congress leader, Musalia Mudavadi, his Ford Kenya Counterpart, Moses Watangula and Maendeleo Chap Chap's Alfred Mutua and a host of MPs affiliated to Kenya Kwanza.
