Deputy President Rigathi has now revealed that President William Ruto granted his wish list in the newly reconstituted Cabinet. Speaking in Kinangop, Nyandarua County on Sunday, Gachagua said he is satisfied with the share Mt Kenya region got in the Cabinet, adding that they got a fair share. Gachagua said he will keep on defending the Mt Kenya region to ensure they get their fair share. He said there were no losers, adding that the Mt Kenya region remains happy because Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau adds to their numbers. I think the whole thing is a win for Kenya," Gachagua said.
