Ruto arrives in Seoul, South Korea ahead of summit


President William Ruto has arrived in Seoul, South Korea for the Korea-Africa Summit. The President was accompanied by the First Lady Rachel Ruto among other dignitaries. Kenyan Ambassador to South Korea Emmy Kipsoi was also present. The summit aims to build strong relations between South Korea and Africa, leveraging each other's strengths to foster mutual growth, tackle global challenges, and reinforce solidarity for peace and security. In a statement on Sunday evening, State House spokesperson Hussein Mohamed said at the summit, that Africa and South Korea will discuss areas of mutual interest, including trade promotion, industrialisation, infrastructure development, and job creation.
