President William Ruto's allies have asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to end his attacks on the government and allow it to deliver to Kenyans. Speaking during the burial of Mama Mukami at Njabini, Kinangop, the MPs told Raila that it is time to allow the government an opportunity to work. Kinangop MP Zackary Thuku also told off the opposition leader over his anti-government campaign saying the elections are over and that it is time for service delivery. The opposition and the government agreed to hold bipartisan talks but Raila has been cautioning of a return to street protests if dialogue does not achieve anything. Raila had called off the demonstrations to give room for the talks in an effort reach a compromise on issues raised by both sides.
