Recognizing the concerns of Kenyans, he emphasized that addressing the high cost of living is a key priority for his administration. Ruto pointed out that some officials, however, were making every effort to ruin the nation by encouraging youth unrest. Raila Odinga, the leader of the coalition, has urged President Ruto to implement extensive reforms within his administration to effectively tackle the issue. Odinga has even threatened to resume street protests if tangible actions are not taken to alleviate the burden of the high cost of living.
