According to available sources of news,tye Standard Media newspaper has established that Ruto-Raila talks have now triggered a change of plans on President Ruto's tour to Mt Kenya region,which was scheduled in earlier September. The political discomfort has now prompted the head of state to change his September tour to Mt Kenya region and reschedule it to this week starting from Saturday for five days. President Ruto is set to hold meeting with his Kenya Kwanza allies. It is noted that leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza are not reading from the same page because of the anticipated talks, fearing that the Ruto-Raila talks might force Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to be sidelined. However,we speculate that the change of plans on Ruto's visit is maybe to make more clarification to his camp that talks will not be based of power sharing.
