The recent impeachment of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his swift replacement with Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof. Kithure Kindiki has raised many eyebrows amongst Kenyans regarding the efficiency of arms of the government. Kithure Kindiki being sworn in as the Interior Cabinet Secretary in August 2024 DPPSNation Media Group (NMG) journalist James Smart encapsulated the thoughts of many Kenyans in a post on X. “The National Assembly has 60 days to process the next deputy president nominee, but they plan to do it in 60 minutes.”For far too long, Kenyans have decried the numerous issues facing them. Currently, complaints regarding corruption as well as poor governance are rife as scandals rock the country left, right and center. All eyes remain on the government as Kenyans eagerly observe whether it will maintain the same energy when it comes service delivery and competence.
