A woman from Baringo Central whose plight for employment went viral online, is one step closer to realising her goal of caring for her poor family. Ruth Jemutai Rono, a university graduate with a first class honors degree in economics, is now spoilt for choice after getting many job offers since her plight got media attention. Standard Digital Videos talked to Ms Rono, through a phone call where she said she has received job offers from different organisations promising to give her work. She said an organisation in Utawala, Nairobi is ready to give her a paid internship of Ksh30,000 a month and accommodation for her family. Ms Rono is currently in Nairobi, weighing her options on which job offer to accept.
