Putin, who has dominated Russia's political landscape for the last 17 years, is widely expected to declare soon that he will run in March's presidential election. "There can be no doubt that this is part of the West's overall policy of holding Russia back," Kosachyov wrote on social media. "What haven't we been forced to suffer from our 'partners' in the course of our history," she wrote. Not via a world war, the collapse of the Soviet Union or sanctions ... We soak it up and survive."
