The charges are in relation to the wrongful seizure of the £353 million superyacht Luna in Dubai. Senior judges have now said the English High Court judgement awarding £453 million to Tatiana Akhmedova should not have been enforced. It is the first time a Dubai court has appointed an expert to assess damages in a case of this kind. The report submitted by the independent assessor found that Luna's owner lost £50 million in rental income during the period it was under arrest. The £47 million (€55.5 million) damages report submitted to court shows it could be a very costly mistake.'
