However, the showroom decided to let the matter go as the man was caught and returned the shoes, the police said. However, he fell from the tree and sustained minor injuries on the back. “He wasn’t coherent in his response but returned the shoes to the store,” the officer said, adding that he was taken to a nearby hospital for medical examination. “He was treated for minor injuries and dropped at his hotel in Paharganj, where he has been staying since November 2,” he said, adding that his visa expires on December 12.
