Technodinamika, a Russian state-owned company showed dogs testing newly developed parachutes, designed for dropping a person, along with a service canine. The spectacular footage of their first test landing is going viral and netizens are truly impressed. Test parachutist Andrei Toropkov said that initially, the dogs get a little tense when the plane door is opened, but they eventually calm down. The manufacturers are working on doubling the maximum altitude for dog parachute jumps to 8,000 meters. The Russian aircraft equipment manufacturer also plans to launch a parachute system for service dogs by next year.
