The Russian Transport Ministry announced the resumption of inspection visits at the airports of Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh with a 5-day visit by experts, Sputnik reported. The last visit by a Russian inspection delegation was in December 2016. The delegation team inspected Arrival Hall number 2 in Cairo Airport, from where Aeroflot Russian airline flights land and take off. The Egyptian Civil Aviation Ministry announced in a statement on Wednesday that the Russian delegation had arrived to resume inspections in airports. Saeed said biometric fingerprint devices had been installed in Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada airports.
