Russian ballet glides into city hearts

The city was the last stop for the Russian artistes, invited by production house Navrasa Duende, after Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad. True to his expectations, the audience at Nazrul Mancha emoted along with the dancers. For Kazatskiy, the challenge was to make the Russian ballet appealing to the Indian audience. The Royal Russian Ballet, founded in Ukraine in 2008, includes 55 dancers from Russia, Ukraine and Europe.
