“Africa has the largest suitable market for Russian green technology companies, calling on the companies they invest in to explore opportunities on the continent,” Ayuk stressed. The Chairman of the Coordinating Committee for Economic Cooperation with African Countries, Igor Morozov, stated that Africa is a key partner of Russia in the new multipolar world. He specified they have been closely monitoring the speed with which African nations achieve economic sovereignty and digital transformation. More than 700 million out of 1.3 billion Africans are young and this presents a great opportunity, he stressed. The Russian ambassador to Ethiopia, Evgeny Terekhin, ratified Russia’s commitment to deepen its cooperation with African nations in the field of security, medicine, biodiversity, geology and mineral processing, energy, construction, transportation, ecology, agriculture and water resources, among others.
