Russia was open to sharing to the Asean its best practices against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), said Russian Ambassador to the Philippines, Igor Khovaev. He said Russia was preparing a virtual meeting between its foreign minister and officials of the Asean this month. The ambassador also thanked the Philippine government for helping repatriate Russian tourists who were stranded here because of the enhanced community quarantine. “That’s why I am sure, Russian tourists will come back to the Philippines,” he said. “I’m sure, we will do it, provided that we will fight together, including Russia and the Philippines.”
