"The experts have already begun working and reported that the team have been very responsive and constructive in their approach," he added. Following the nations 2015 doping ban, Russia has been in a long, dark tunnel in terms of its return to Olympic sport. However, the election of a new Russian Athletics Federation president has raised hopes that the door for a return may be opening.
