On May 24, the Russian Center for Science and Technology organized a ceremony to present awards to 170 Vietnamese students who won prizes in the Russian language, Mathematics, Physics and Informatics Olympiads in 2017. The winners will receive full scholarships from the Russian Government to study at Russian universities in the coming future. Each year, the number of scholarships granted by the Russian Government to Vietnamese students is increasing, and the figure could mount to 953 scholarships in 2017. This year, the Olympiads for Russian language, Mathematics, Physics and Informatics were held in 9 cities nationwide, attracting the participation of more than 2,000 students, showing much interest of Vietnamese students in Russia and to Russian education.
