Russia’s Port Favor Terminal Looks To Double Ammonia Exports


Russia’s Port Favor terminal in Ust-Luga (Leningrad Region) shipped 53,300 tonnes of ammonia in February 2026, up 3% year-on-year, the terminal has stated. The terminal transshipped 0.56 million tonnes of ammonia in 2025. In 2026, Port Favor plans to double the amount of liquid fertilizer shipments, as well as ship 1 million tonnes of carbamide for export. The first facilities of the Port Favor terminal were launched in December 2024. Investment in the Ust-Luga port to complete these developments amounts to ₽80 billion (US$1.03 billion).
