The Russell McVeagh law firm in Wellington became the focal point of New Zealand's #Metoo movement. A former Russell McVeagh staff member said he stormed out of a sauna when a law firm partner kissed a student lawyer, a disciplinary tribunal has been told. The partner, no longer with Russell McVeagh, is facing seven charges at the tribunal hearing in Wellington and his identity has been suppressed . Kevin Stent/Stuff Public service troubleshooter Dame Margaret Bazley prepared an independent review of Russell McVeagh. The first witness from the hearing on Tuesday said that the lawyer was lauded as a hip, cool guy at Russell McVeagh.
