Heather Humphreys, the new business minister, announced the results of the first round of funding from Enterprise Ireland’s regional development fund. Projects in the south were the most successful, securing €14 million of funding, followed by €11 million for projects in the eastern and midland regions. More than €5 million has been allocated for the north and west.
