Firefighters were called to a blaze on Colyton Rd on Friday morning. A cowshed in rural Manawatū has been damaged by fire. Fire and Emergency New Zealand services were called to a blaze on Colyton Rd near Colyton, between Taonui and Watershed roads, about 10.40am on Friday. A Fire and Emergency spokesman said the shed was well ablaze when firefighters arrived and it took until 11.40am for the fire to be extinguished. No people or animals were hurt, the spokesman said.
