Photo: MintMumbai: The Indian rupee on Tuesday strengthened against the US dollar, tracking gains in the Asian currencies markets. The rupee opened at 67.12 per dollar. At 9.10am, the home currency was trading at 67.11 per dollar, up 0.1% from its previous close of 67.19. The dollar index, which measures the US currency’s strength against major currencies, was trading at 94.512, down 0.01% from its previous close of 94.519.
