The rupee opened at 63.74 a dollar and touched a high and a low of 63.63 and 63.86, respectively. The 10-year bond yield ended at 7.295%, compared to its previous close of 7.262%. The dollar index, which measures the US currency’s strength against major currencies, was trading at 90.353, down 0.16% from its previous close of 90.498.
