Photo: MintMumbai: Indian rupee on Thursday closed over one-week high against the US dollar after local equity markets gained for fourth sessions. The rupee opened at 64.80 a dollar and touched a high and a low of 64.73 and 64.91 respectively. The 10-year bond yield ended at 6.798% compared to its previous close of 6.811%. The dollar index, which measures the US currency’s strength against major currencies, was trading at 93.69, down 0.03% from its previous close of 93.711.
