OPINION: Having watched, supported and played rugby my entire life, it's a bit worrying hearing all the talk about the game slowly fading away, especially in New Zealand. In Los Angeles recently, all of the big rugby unions came together to decide on and plan some changes that would hopefully result in money distributed a bit more fairly. This might go some way in allowing the NZRU to keep their great players and not lose them to Japan and Europe. We lose so much time to scrum resets, so this change would mean longer games, and hopefully more points. I feel these rule changes would make it even better and maybe create a bit more excitement around it.
