Rugby final bringing the past and present togetherJackson Thomas/STUFF Eras collide as One Tree Hill College's 1XV rugby team prepare for their first Auckland final, in 40-years. Not typically known as a rugby powerhouse, the One Tree Hill side carved out a terrific season in 2017 finishing with an 11-2 record. One Tree Hill College Principal Nick Coughlan said the school had "more than enough talent" to compete in 1A. "It means a lot to the school and to the boys to have past players around the group also. "People think because of our name that we are not a rugby school but we have proven we can compete and we'll prove it on Saturday."
