There was more controversy at the Rugby World Cup after an incident involving Wallabies centre Samu Kerevi and his coach Michael Cheika said he was "embarrassed" by it after Australia lost 29-25 to Wales. Speaking in his post-match press conference, Cheika said: "As a former rugby player, I am embarrassed by that. The incident led to Wallabies captain Michael Hooper arguing with Poite on the field, saying Patchell had a "terrible tackle technique". It seemed like Cheika was restraining himself as he considered some of the game's controversial moments.
