Georgia too strong for 14-man Uruguay as they win in sweltering conditions in Kumagaya. Uruguay were no match for a bruising Georgia outfit who recorded their first win of the Rugby World Cup in sweltering conditions at the Kumagaya Rugby Stadium on Sunday. Wind gusts were just 13km/h and the Kumagaya Rugby Stadium being open to the elements meant there was little shade from the scorching sun for the players and fans in attendance. It was only their third World Cup win and one of their previous victories was against Georgia, 24-12 in Sydney, at the 2003 tournament in Australia. AP Temperatures at the Kumagaya Rugby Stadium were up to 29 degrees celsius.
