SportSri Lanka Rugby (SLR) has made arrangements to honour former greats of the game and its life members on Sunday (15) alongside the closing ceremony of the Third Leg of the Asia Rugby 7s Series to be held at the Racecourse ground in Colombo. Accordingly SLR will honour over 30 Rugby personalities with special awards for their contribution to the game and country. Chang, Gamini Fernando, Hemaka Amarasooriya, Malik Samarawickrama, Dr. Indrajith Coomersawamy, Dr. Maiya Gunasekara, Anton Benedict, Brig. de Silva, SSP Ibrahim Hamid (Rtd), Dr. Hans Wijesuriya, Neil Wijeratne, Kumar Abeywardana, Jayantissa Ratwatte and Ken Murray. Top International Rugby administrators are set to grace the occasion of the presentation awards according to SLR.
